Notes for Prospective Students

Admissions Process A+ World Academy has a rolling admission, meaning there is no application deadline. However, given the limited places available on board (64), we highly recommend that you apply as soon as possible for this one-in-a-lifetime boarding school experience. Our application process is fairly simple, just follow the steps below to begin. https://aplusacademy.openapply.com/ Step 1: Request Information You may request information by email, phone, or by filling out a registration of interest. We would be delighted to send you our school prospectus and/or speak to you over the phone about our exciting program. Step 2: Our application and the required documents are available online in the form of a checklist. The required documents are as follows: Phase 1 - Application (150 Euros) - 400 500 words essay on "What impact do you want to have on the world?" - Zoom interview (with guided questions) Result: Rejection or conditional acceptance Phase 2 - Pay 10% deposit - Sign & return the terms & conditions Result: Due within 10 days of the offer; the student is officially enrolled Phase 3 - School transcripts for the past three years - Two teacher's recommendation letters (questionnaire provided) - Medical questionnaire (completed by physician and signed) Result: Due within 60 days; if the student is denied based on grades, recommendation letters or for medical reasons, the deposit will be refunded. Phase 4 - All other forms due by June 1st (Permission for minor to travel without parents must be notarized and more) - Final Transcript must be submitted by June 30th; GPA cannot drop below 2.0 out of 4.0 scale (USA) or 4.0 for Norwegian scale Step 3: Welcome Aboard! A welcome package outlining specific information and instructions will be sent by to you to help you prepare for your educational adventure aboard the Srlandet.
