Notes for Prospective Students
Application Process Application Submission Complete the online
application form available on our website. Pay the non-refundable
application fee of 100.00 Required Documents Official transcripts
from the applicant’s current and previous schools. A writing sample
(details provided below). Writing Sample Middle School Applicants:
Write a 300-400 word essay on “A Time I Overcame a Challenge”. High
School Applicants: Write a 500-700 word essay on “How I Plan to
Make an Impact in My Community.” Committee Interview Selected
applicants will meet with an admissions committee. The interview
will evaluate the applicant's academic goals, extracurricular
interests, and alignment with the school’s values. Once a student
is accepted their non-refundable 400.00 new student fee is due
within 72 hours to hold seat. Enrollment Process Congratulations
are in order! At this point you have officially been accepted into
the SEPA family! Once you complete your enrollment packet, your
600.00 enrollment fee will be due. Program Tracks Applicants will
select between two academic tracks upon acceptance: 1.
Honor/Academic Scholars Track Designed for students seeking a
rigorous academic challenge and preparation for competitive
colleges and universities. Middle School Honors Track Requirements:
Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Enrollment in at least two Honors
courses per semester. Participation in the Honors Seminar, a
bi-weekly class focusing on critical thinking, advanced research
skills, and leadership development. Completion of a Capstone
Project in 8th grade. High School Honors Track Requirements:
Maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Enrollment in at least three
Honors/AP courses per semester. Participation in the Honors
Seminar, covering: College preparedness strategies. Advanced
writing and research techniques. Mental readiness and resilience
training. Completion of a Senior Thesis Project with mentorship
from faculty. Engagement in at least one extracurricular club,
sport, or activity. 2. College and Career Readiness Path Ideal for
students seeking a well-rounded education with a focus on practical
skills and career preparation. Requirements: Maintain a GPA of 2.8
or higher. Complete core academic courses tailored to individual
career interests. Participation in a Career Development Seminar
covering resume building, professional etiquette, and job readiness
skills. Option to take dual-enrollment college courses or career
certification programs through our Learning Institutes in areas
such as Health Science, Business, and Technology.
