Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
Hargrave is a private military boarding school and offers the tremendous benefits inherent therein including discipline, structure, attention to detail and earned rewards and authority. Hargrave also teaches at the level the student is ready for, no set in stone cookie cutter education plans here.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
If it wasn't for hargrave i would be dead or in jail rather than internationally successful at this point in my life.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Accepted sooner that the best way to deal with my authority issues was to just follow the rules and get some authority of my own!
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The people, the structure, the education, and the future connections and networking.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
The best way to deal with an aversion to authority is to suck it up, follow orders and rules, then gain some authority of your own.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
What i loved most about the academics at hargrave was for the first time in my life i was challenged academically because hargrave will tailor their education plan to the needs and current intellectual level of their students.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
At hargrave participation in a sport or physical training program is required of all students, not only does this maintain a baseline of health but also builds teamwork and brotherhood among the students regardless of where they came from.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
The music, theater and arts programs are rarely rivaled and beyond reproach.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
The variable plethora of extra-curricular activities offered are a large contributing factor to the school close to perfect college acceptance rate each year.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
Dorms are referred to as barracks and the cleanliness and order standards are high with daily room inspections as well as the cadet command structure maintain these standards.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
quality buffet style dining is offered for 3 meals a day and snack bar is available during free time.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
weekends vary with some having access to town for students not on restriction while some weekends are "closed" and no off campus trips allowed.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
You will build bonds stronger than family and brotherhood among those you go to school with. These connections and networking opportunities will pay off in dividends once you are in the adult world.
